About Mr Jamie Vatish
Mr. Jamie Vatish is a Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon with expertise in all breast related conditions.
As a consultant who practices exclusively in breast surgery, he offers a comprehensive service for patients requiring treatment for breast cancer, benign breast disease, or for those who simply require reassurance.
With advanced training in oncoplastic and aesthetic surgery, Mr Vatish skilfully integrates cancer surgery with techniques that maintain the breast’s overall cosmetic appearance. He tailors the surgical treatment of breast cancer to patients’ wishes, whilst always maintaining oncological safety.
He uses a wide range of oncoplastic techniques in suitable patients and is one of the only surgeons in the West Midlands proficient in using Chest Wall Perforator Flaps, a technique which can avoid the need for a mastectomy.

Background
Mr Vatish grew up in Birmingham before training at Guy’s, King’s, and St Thomas’ Medical School in London, where he qualified with honours and with an additional degree in Psychology in 2010. Following his higher, general surgical training in the Midlands, he was selected for the prestigious National Fellowship in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, a program available to only a select few breast and plastic surgeons each year.
